I say: YES!
Of course K-dramas have similarities in how they dress a TYPE of role, i.e., heroines begin curly haired and goofy, but end up straight-haired and sleeky. (I am guessing it is a law, at this point.) Even allowing for the cliches of style from series to series, the fact that it IS the same writing/directing team tells me this is on purpose, and could actually be another inside joke the crew is playing.
Jo Yoon Hee has the same unfortunate hair as Lee Young Ah.
We gather that Joo Min Young is innocent, spunky and younger than anchor Park Sun Woo. That she is his hoobae professionally, too. Replace “Yoo Jung In” and “Min Tae Yeon” into that sentence and it is still true.
By the way, JYH (b.1982) is two years older than LYA (b. 1984.) I would have thought that was reversed. This is a win for Hair Stylist, I admit.
Lee Jin Wook rocks the leather in a very macho fashion, whereas Yun Jung Hoon carries an elegant, but still manly, air.
Both characters act and speak authoritatively. We get the impression they have earned their way into the position of power they hold, and we see those around them respond quickly to requests.
Did anyone notice how LJW’s hair is styled eerily similar to YJH with the high, pushed back bangs?
By the way, YJH (b.1978) is three years older than LJW (b.1981) which makes Jomo (b. 1711) feel quite old.
